1. Data controller

LeapForward is the data controller for the processing of your personal data. You are always welcome to write if you have questions about how your data is handled:

2. What personal data I process

• Enquiries: name, email and where relevant phone number and company, when you write to me or fill in a form.
• Newsletter: your email address and possibly your name when you sign up. The newsletter is published in Danish only.
• Collected automatically: IP address, browser and device information, and statistics on your use of the site via cookies. Statistics are collected only with your consent.

3. Purposes and legal basis

• Answering enquiries and delivering services. Legal basis: performance of a contract or my legitimate interest in helping you, GDPR art. 6(1)(b) and (f).
• Sending the newsletter. Legal basis: your consent, GDPR art. 6(1)(a).
• Statistics and improving the site. Legal basis: your consent given in the cookie banner, GDPR art. 6(1)(a).
• Measuring advertising on LinkedIn. Legal basis: your consent given in the cookie banner, GDPR art. 6(1)(a).

4. Data processors

I share data with selected processors who handle it on my behalf and on my instructions:

• One.com, hosting and operation of the site (EU).
• Google (Google Analytics), statistics on how the site is used (United States).
• HubSpot, contact form, CRM and newsletter distribution (United States).
• LinkedIn (Microsoft), measuring the effect of advertising via the LinkedIn Insight Tag (United States).

Transfers to the United States rely on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. I never sell your personal data to third parties.

5. Cookies

The site uses cookies. Necessary, technical cookies make the site work and do not require consent. Statistics and marketing cookies are set only if you give consent in the cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time here:

6. Retention

I keep your data for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for. Enquiries typically for up to two years after your most recent contact, newsletter sign-ups until you unsubscribe, and statistics according to the tool’s own retention settings. After that the data is deleted or anonymised.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right of access to your data, and the right to have it corrected or erased, to restrict processing, to object, and to data portability. Where you have given consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Write to jesper@leapforward.dk to exercise your rights.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency, Datatilsynet, Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, Denmark, datatilsynet.dk.
